Does anyone have any idea where all that business that had been done by retailers like Bed Bath & Beyond, Tuesday Morning, Christmas Tree Shops and a few other poor souls who have gone out of business is going to go? It’s the big question for the home industry which will be scrambling for market share at both the retail and wholesale levels. The fear is that as much as half of that revenue will simply disappear, an especially tough outcome for vendors who have no place to go to replace that business. Look for continuing aftershocks.
