The people signing the paychecks may have changed, but the turmoil and upheaval at Bed Bath & Beyond shows no signs of ending. With the firing of its president this week, the home furnishings retailer — now online only — is about to get its sixth CEO in five years. New owners Overstock.com — now going by the corporate name Beyond Inc. — seem to be in the grip of a PE firm that wants to put its own person in the corner office. In the meantime its business continues to underperform. Same old, same old.
