
For a retailer that has held up better than most of its counterparts in the home furnishings space — and in fact showed a nice profit, beating analyst estimates — it was a rough week for Williams- Sonoma. Its stock hit a brick wall a few days ago and has not really recovered yet. It’s still probably best-in-class and it even upped its forecast for the balance of the year yet Sonoma remains caught up in the home-centric vortex that is impacting everyone in the sector.
