Anyone waiting for the home furnishings retail business to turn around is going to have to wait a little longer. The latest round of financial results from the big national retailers of furniture and other home furnishings products shows continued weakness in the market and no real short-term optimism on a turnaround. Some retailers did better than others…though really we’re talking about some doing less worse than others. It’s not a pretty picture.
