
After trying crazy pricing schemes (and losing money), moving way out of their comfort zones (and failing) and trying to be uber trendy (and quite disastrous), both mid-tier retailers are repositioning themselves as places where families shop. The irony of course is that this was their original positioning in the marketplace…back when both were quite successful. Will it work this time?
