I did — three times — in this piece on the latest in the oh-so-sad saga of Sears and Eddie Lampert’s ongoing and frankly unbelievable moves to continue to extract blood out of the near-death carcass of the company he destroyed. Some of his latest moves will astound even long-time Eddie followers. It’s why malapertness may be the perfect word to describe it all. (And yes I had to look it up…and yes, it’s the first time I’ve ever used the word — ever.)
