As the Covid-19 situation gets worse by the minute, it’s having a huge impact on the trade shows, markets and events that are largely the way the consumer products industry goes about the business of buying and selling merchandise. There have already been many, many cancellations and no doubt there will be more. Not to do so would be Stupid.
Here’s my take on the situation with an update of affected events from my new Robin Report story: https://www.therobinreport.com/industry-trade-shows-wary-of-what-happens-next/?utm_source=mailchimp&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=regular&utm_source=The+Robin+Report&utm_campaign=6cfdd9a103-EMAIL_CAMPAIGN_2020_03_08_11_27&utm_medium=email&utm_term=0_e90268c709-6cfdd9a103-201764105&mc_cid=6cfdd9a103&mc_eid=56dabd8fbd.
By the way, is anybody else seeing the irony that all the criticism on the way the Chinese government handled the situation there — late to acknowledge, unprepared, a slew of misinformation and a lack of resources to deal with the disease — is exactly what is happening here in the United States?
