After the sporting events, the amusement parks, the schools, the museums and all the rest, now come the stores. Starting yesterday the first wave of retailers, as well as restaurants, announced they were closing indefinitely. It was of course because of the coronavirus pandemic but it also was about reality: business was dropping off faster than you could cook a three-minute egg and there were signs that things would get worse before they got better. If you don’t believe that and are denying this is a problem — yes, we’re talking about you Fox and Foxers — you’re just plain Stupid.

Here’s the latest on store and restaurant closings from my new Forbes.com post: https://www.forbes.com/sites/warrenshoulberg/2020/03/14/apple-patagonia-danny-meyer-restaurants-here-come-the-coronavirus-retail-closings/#e503a6f431f7
