Maybe You Won’t Be Experienced After All…

Experiential retailing — whatever that means — was supposed to be the savior for physical stores, a way to engage shoppers and make them get off their phones and come into a store. We don’t really know how successful a strategy this is for a variety of reasons, not the least of which is the coronavirus pandemic that shut down most physical stores. As they are slowly reopening around the country, the idea of all that close contact, touching and interaction that are the hallmarks of the experiential concept is not exactly so popular anymore.

We may never know how smart or Stupid this strategy is…at least for the short term. But it does raise a lot of questions, some of which I attempt to answer in this new Robin Report post: https://www.therobinreport.com/experiential-retailing-done-thatbut-not-anymore/?utm_source=mailchimp&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=regular&utm_source=The+Robin+Report&utm_campaign=5ec9e8af75-Experiential+Retailing%3A+Done+That%E2%80%A6But+Not+Any&utm_medium=email&utm_term=0_e90268c709-5ec9e8af75-201764105
