JCP’s Lost Decade

When you average a new boss every two-and-a-half-years for a ten-year period chances are you’re not going to ever accomplish much of any of their plans. Sadly that’s the case at JCPenney which is about to have its fifth CEO in about a decade following the departure of Jill Soltau and the search for her replacement by the new owners of the troubled department store. What it all adds up to is a Lost Decade where the retailer fell further and further behind the curve with less and less time to fix its many problems. These kind of continuing management changes represent Stupid choices…and Stupid decisions.
