Just when you thought the situation at Sears — the incredible disappearing retail act — couldn’t get worse: a survey of their merchandise offerings online shows a disturbing lack of basic goods with some product categories barely represented and others non-existent. C’mon, you can’t buy a cordless drill at Sears anymore? I’d say this is Stupid but we’re way beyond that. The real Stupid people are the ones who kept buying into this fairy tale that the retailer could be saved.
