Howard Schultz’s return for his third stint as CEO of the company he built from the coffee beans up — Starbucks — was a surprise…but maybe not so much. With the big barista in turmoil as unionization efforts rock its corporate culture, Schultz is back to try to mellow out the mood. It’s a risky return, given that his legacy right now is as tasty as a mochaccino latte. I’ve got some thoughts on all of this in my new Robin Report post, some of which may surprise you.
