
While so many big national retailers across the entire spectrum of consumer products expressed concern about the balance of the year even as they continued to post positive results for the spring/early summer period, Williams Sonoma is telling investors things couldn’t be much better. It reiterated its strong forecast for the next few quarters and said it remains solidly on its way to becoming a $10 billion company in the next two years. A 41% comp sales improvement over the past two years certainly didn’t hurt.
