2022 Was Alphabet Soupy

It was one wacky year for the home furnishings retailing sector which saw insatiable demand and thin inventories turn into drastically cut sales and an oversupply of just about everything. Some retailers — Williams Sonoma, RH, TJX — handled it better than others — Bed Bath & Beyond, Wayfair. Still, it was difficult for just about everybody in the business to deal with the whiplash conditions.

In my new Business of Home review of 2022, I take an alphabetically defined tour of the winners and losers for the year. Definitely it was not as easy as ABC for just about everybody: https://businessofhome.com/articles/the-year-in-retail-from-a-to-z?utm_source=daily_newsletter&utm_medium=email
