
The housewares industry returned to Chicago for its first true show in four years and while it wasn’t quite back up to pre-pandemic levels, it was pretty robust. Part of that is because anything to do with cooking and eating meals at home has been a better business than just about anything else in the broader home furnishings sector. And then there’s just the pent-up demand to see all those pots and pans and toasters and blenders in person. Chicago pizza didn’t hurt.
