RH, the upscale home furnishings retailer, reported disappointing numbers, missing analyst forecasts, once again blaming the dismal housing market. So what does Wall Street do? They send its stock soaring up, nearly 20% in just an hour, based on the company’s uptempo outlook for business for the rest of the year. I barely understand the retail business but I will never figure out the financial sector. Guess that’s why I do what I do.
