
Once a powerhouse in the home furnishings business, Kohl’s saw its merchandising strategy get increasingly muddled…along with the rest of the store. Now it’s doubling down on home, saying it is expanding the department 40 percent and really stepping up its efforts, particularly in soft home bed and bath.
