Nice little piece on HFN magazine’s site from Julie Gaines, owner of Fishes Eddy, the legendary little tabletop store in Manhattan that started off selling restaurant dish discards and has now become a retailer specializing in vintage look products. It’s a terrific store, if you’ve never been there go visit, just up Broadway from ABC Home and Gaines has such a nice point of view on being a specialty retailer these days.
Stupid if you don’t give it a quick read. http://www.hfndigital.com/omnichannel/where-did-all-my-customers-go/?utm_source=hs_email&utm_medium=email&utm_content=70911496&_hsenc=p2ANqtz-9LnndZzz_N9zD_ZOAoOi7FsOZtA5-Qgwafupq8Ub9twHEWlUKK4Y2lkfPBvSDuxQ5x5kzTcUVeBkgkwr0BG-V9W2FPIw&_hsmi=70911496
