Stupid. There’s just no other word to describe the game of chicken the White House is playing with China on tariffs. American retailers are nearly unanimous in saying how damaging this situation is becoming not just for their own businesses but for the overall American economy. The ignorance, arrogance and naivety of the Trump Administration is just beyond words.

I agree that the tariff situation is untenable.
Reshoring requires massive investment and in reality only represents an artificial solution to an artificially induced situation. i.e. why impose tariffs of such magnitude anyway?
This is not about recreating or boosting national economies! this is a game of chess where the only winners are those playing the game of chess [the political parasites].
ORDINARY PEOPLE ARE NOT ALLOWED TO PLAY CHESS!
Therefore the rationale behind the decisions of tariff increase can only be disruption to all which of course is the intent!
There are no lines to read between – politicians [parasites] clearly reveal their intent.
It seems asset stripping is now a viable way of life.
