The president is really going to threaten to impose new tariffs and cancel the modest but at least manageable Phase 1 deal with China?
Really?
Could be as tariffs come into the conversation again as part of the president’s new battle with China, one largely designed to deflect blame from his own inept handling of the coronavirus pandemic. What happens next is anybody’s guess but it’s the uncertainty as much as the final outcome that has business in the U.S. nervous again. It’s why once more the way this entire matter is being handled by the current administration is nothing short of Stupid.
