I wish I had come up with this myself but I have to hand it to Retail Dive, the excellent daily e-newsletter that covers the industry, for working up this piece on The Five Worst-Timed Retail Decisions of 2020. Of course, you can cut some of these guys a bit of slack as nobody could have ever predicted what a train wreck this year would be for retailing specifically and the world in general. But these are doozy decisions, some of which in hindsight would have been downright Stupid even in the best of times.
