
The American Dream shopping and entertainment complex in New Jersey has pretty much been a nightmare for two decades, its development, construction and opening seemingly jinxed by an endless series of calamities…the most recent being a pandemic shutdown. But the place reopened on Oct. 1 and a new report on foot traffic offers encouraging news that maybe, just maybe, it’s going to work. Still way too early to draw any conclusions and a resurgence of Covid in the NY metropolitan area is potentially looming on the horizon. But for those who said this was one Stupid idea — I’ve been among them from time to time — this has to be welcome news.
