
For years retailers have been trying to make shopping more experiential. But now it’s the experience itself they are starting to sell. From Harry Potter to Vincent Van Gogh to Friends, retailing is moving into the concept of immersive selling and it’s a whole new thing. Whether it’s a Smart long-term strategy…or just a Stupid blip — remains to be seen.
