Old stores don’t die…in fact they often don’t even fade away. From current operators like Saks setting up office space in its former stores to new owners coming in and radically reformatting old stores into colleges, libraries and even residences there’s a big movement out there to find new purposes for old stores. Certainly there’s more than enough defunct retail space to go around but some of the new lives being pumped into these old stores are rather remarkable.
I take a look at all of this in my new Robin Report read, give it a read: https://www.therobinreport.com/the-re-in-retailing-now-stands-for-repurposing/?utm_source=newsletter&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=regular&utm_source=The+Robin+Report&utm_campaign=da4e9aae63-EMAIL_CAMPAIGN_2022_04_18_08_49&utm_medium=email&utm_term=0_e90268c709-da4e9aae63-201764105
